Progress! Slowly but surely I am using up my stash. First, my basket full of cotton is finally disappearing.
Yes, it's been three weeks of cotton crocheting and I have a lot to show for it! You've seen my Overlay Crochet Mandala,(soon to be a pillow) and you've seen my Mandalas, and this week I made a much needed dishcloth for myself. This pattern is so pretty and so fun to make I want to make several of them. The cotton yarn I used for this one is Hobby Lobby's I Love This Cotton in Buttercup Print.
And I have to say, I am getting really excited about my new little granny square blanket. I love the white now and I only have one row done but I worked in all the ends and it's looking pretty good.
Happy Crocheting!
You have been so busy, very fun projects.

I've never liked I Love This Cotton for dishcloths, so you'll have to tell me how it works for you! Maybe it's not worsted weight or something so it feels too flimsy to me... ? I love the color and the pattern--so pretty! Have a great Easter weekend!
ReplyDeleteVery cute and very colorful..
ReplyDeleteYou have my hats off for using your stash up.. I am rather scared of my stash. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeletegranny squares are my go to project, when I can't seem to settle on anything else... I just finished up a bluesy turquoise granny afghan with squares that I have been doing up for almost a year! In progress is another granny project with round centres... I really like your star pot holders and my just have to put a similar project on my to do list! I have put you on my 'bloglovin' list so will be back regularly to visit!
