Tuesday's Tallies-One a Day

It's been a long time since I have posted to Gingerbread Girl's Tuesday Tallies. I just couldn't do it when I was working on the baby stuff. Some things went so fast I would have two or three items done in a week. So now I actually have something to show this week:

My Sidewalk Shawl...

I am loving the fast progress I am making on this shawl. I am participating in a CAL over at "Everything Zen" group on Ravelry.  It is hosted by Kashi and a bunch of us are making this shawl.  So far I LOVE it. The yarn (Debbie Stoller Bamboo Ewe in Mercury) is so soft and doesn't split at all. I love the color and the design is really starting so show up.

The shawl is all I'm working on for now but...I am getting antsy to start a BIG project. I think I will wait until it is a little cooler though.

Have a great week and...

Happy Crocheting!!

Pinterest: Things I want to make in 2012...

These are a few of the things I would like to make this year.

Since 2012 is half over it looks like I better get busy! Lol

All of these are from Pinterest and the source is listed.

I Love this infinity scarf, the color and the design is just beautiful.

You remember this sidewalk shawl? I bought all of the "special" yarn for it and haven't started it yet! I've been busy crocheting "Baby Emma's" things that she will need when she arrives in August! I have my priorities you know. :)

Now that I have the book...I want to make this really soon!

I love this! Pammy Sue hasn't sent me the link yet so I can get started. If anyone else has it could you send it to me at echrisjohn@gmail.com? Thanks so much!

This one isn't exactly what I am going to make but it has the colors of one that I started a while back.

I still can't show you what I've been making because I have to wait until I give them to my daughter. Hopefully that will be soon. One thing I am saving for her shower on July 15th so it will probably be after that before I can go crazy posting pictures. I may just have to whip up a few pot holders or scarves because I am having "blogger comments withdrawal". :) Seriously...I miss you guys. I've only had my blog for a little over a year and now when I finish an item I can't wait to take pictures and get it posted so I can hear what you think about it! Crazy huh? How did I do it before? I really think I am a "comments" junky! I love them! Oh well, soon I will know your opinions on all the fun projects I've done. Thanks you guys. I'm glad you're here.

Happy Crocheting!

Summer Shawl Finished and New Baby Popcorn Started

Tah Dah! I finished my Summer Shawl...this worked up so fast and is so pretty...

Here is a close up shot of the stitch...

Moving on to crochet for my first grand baby that is on its way... This is Lion Brand Baby Soft yarn and it is a dream to work with. I am using an F crochet hook and the yarn is so fine and delicate. It is Sport Weight in Pastel Yellow. We still don't know if its a boy or girl and I just can't wait that long to start crocheting for him/her.

Here is a close up of the popcorn stitch...it is very easy and works up fast.
More projects coming soon...

Thank you all for your kind comments on all of my projects. I do appreciate them so much. They keep me motivated to continue crocheting, taking pics and blogging. Hugs to you all!!

Happy Crocheting!
