Here is another finished baby blanket for baby Emma...
I was planning on a yellow border but it was just to bland...
Since we know she is a girl I went with the pink.
This is my own pattern/design and I'm please with how it came out. I've never made anything without a pattern before so this was fun...
It was super simple so I guess I should write it down so I can remember what I did in case I want to make another one!
I had to add this one to show the texture!

Beautiful baby blanket - I hope you'll be sharing the pattern.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dorothy. There's really nothing to it so I feel silly writing it out. Oh well, it will be a short pattern! lol :)
DeleteI love it and I agree the pink border looks great.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,
Meredith
Thank you Meredith. My daughter loves it so that is the important one to please! :)
DeleteGood morning! Such a lovely blanket:) Yeah I think you should write it down, who knows I may like to try it lol. Awesome work as always. Emma will be happy.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Trust me, it will be super easy to follow along. ((hugs))
DeleteEileen, this is a beautiful creation! It's such a wonderful feeling of accomplishment to come up with something unique/free form...isn't it? I was such a rigid pattern follower as I was learning, but now I get out of that box once in awhile...it still amazes me when it actually turns out! LOL Have a great day! Annette
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet Annette. Yes, It is a relief when it all comes together! :)
DeleteEmma's baby blanket is so pretty - good choice of the pink for the border. You should write the pattern down - I'm sure there's lots of crocheters out there who would love to make this lovely blanket. :)
ReplyDeleteDebi, thank you so much for your encouraging comments. They always make my day! ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandra! I agree, I can be a bit rebellious myself. It is fun to do your own thing once in a while. Take care my friend.
