Progress on Blankets and New Project

Here is an update on what I've been working on. First... my Giant Granny CAL...Here is a pic from the last time I updated my progress...
Here is what it looks like now...
It's growing! I haven't counted the rows yet bu I still have a ways to go!

Now my Blues Granny Stripe...before...
...and here it is now!

I ran out of yarn so I had to stop and order more. It's on its way! Yay! Now, I had to start a new project of course...
This is a very delicate yarn with sequins! This will be a scarf when it grows up. I can't get a good picture of the pretty sequins but..this will be a beautiful, dressy scarf.
I haven't raveled it yet but when I do I will let you know. It is so fun working with this yarn. It's so light and it has mohair in it.Kind of a challenge for me since I'm used to working on blankets. I'll keep you posted on my progress. I hope to have more projects with different yarns like kid silk, alpaca, etc. My next project will be a lacy shawl. I'm so excited! The scarf is practice for me before I tackle the really HARD stuff! I hope you all have a great weekend and I do appreciate all of your sweet comments! Pin It
