It has been a busy year but I am looking forward to 2012 and all the NEW patterns and skills I will learn.

It's been fun and I do appreciate each and everyone of you for following me throughout my journey. I have received so much support and learned so much from each of you. Your comments have inspired me to keep going and trying new things. THANK YOU for inspiring me and encouraging me as I continue to learn and expand on my limited knowledge of this beautiful ART.

Happy New Year and I'll see you next year!

2012 Crochet-Alongs

I found two great CALs from SusanD1408 Crochet Addict!

The first one is the 2012 Crochet Block-A-Month CAL at Ravelry.

This is the January 6" Square. Isn't it fun? I can't wait to give this one a try.

The second one is over at the Food and Fibers Blog.
Aren't the colors gorgeous in this 12" square? I love it!

I decided to join these CALs to expand my skills in 2012 and because I am addicted to granny squares.:)

I am planning on starting my Ripple with the ATTIC 24Pack of yarn.

Finishing up, (working in the ends) of my beautiful BLUES afghan this week so by January 1, 2012 I will be ready to start my new projects for the new year!

Happy New Year and Happy Crocheting!

Little Crochet Stockings

I absolutely love these cute Little Christmas Socks from Le monde de Sucrette.

These cute little socks work up really fast and I plan to fill them with goodies for my coworkers for Christmas. I haven't decorated mine yet but...you can add buttons, beads, baubles, etc. whatever you like. They are just too fun to make. The tutorial is great and shows you step by step how to make them.

Happy Crocheting!

Rainbow Granny Stripe Tah Dah!!!

Well...I did it! I finished my Rainbow Granny Stripe Blanket.

It felt like the border took forever...

but it was so worth it. I LOVE how it finished it off...
and since it is for my daughter,  it added a little femininity.

I used a double V-stitch for the yellow row.

Only one more Granny Stripe to finish and then I can finally start my Ripple with my Lucy Pak!

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful week!
Where I'm hooking up this week...
