My BIG Surprise!

My Mixed Berry Scarf...Tah Dah!!
no this is not the BIG surprise...

I am excited to show you this completed project...

and this beauty...my Sequined Scarf. Do you remember this one?

It turned out so soft and delicate. I just love the pattern and the yarn!!

And now this...no it isn't the BIG surprise yet!

I finished this scarf too.

Now are your ready...

are you sure...

believe me it is going to be worth the wait!!

I am so excited to show you this that I am giddy!

I know... just get on with it.

Well

here it is...

the BIG Surprise!!

All the way from the U.K...

LUCY A24 Pack
(click above to order yours)

Yes...I know

it

is

AWESOME!!

But its awesomeness only gets better and better.

This 17 skeins of yarn in these yummy colors, (handpicked by Lucy herself) is less than $40 and free shipping.

You can't beat that kind of deal. It did take two weeks to arrive so I have been on pins and hooks waiting, waiting, waiting and finally
it arrived in all its glory and I am ecstatic!

Now what am I going to do with it??

That my friends is up to you. That's right. You tell me what to make from this yummy confection of yarn!!

I want it to be a blanket. Not a granny stripe because I have two of those going already. Maybe a ripple or granny squares, ( I also have a giant granny going on now as well.) Maybe I should finish the three blankets I have started before I start this new one. Naw...I don't think I can wait that long. :)

So tell me what kind of a blanket should I make?? Just leave me a comment and I'll let you all know what you decide. I LOVE making blankets so I'm open to any pattern you choose.

I'm so excited to see what all of you decide for me! It will be kind of a fun challenge.

Have a great week everyone and Happy Hooking!!

  1. Love your scarfs and your new yarn! I just did a lacy-ish scarf myself that I'm blocking right now (first time blocking so I'm a little nervous how it will work).

I'm a big fan of the ripple!

  3. A ripple sounds good (only because I am anticipating starting my own after yule....). But if you want something different how about a blanket full of bright and cheery hexagons? Hehe, I haven't mastered the patchwork blanket yet so I love seeing others.
Loving all your scarves, gifts are sorted for you this year then ;)

  5. Thanks Heather! I should block my scarves too but like you it scares me. Why is that? I can't wait to see yours. Maybe I'll get brave enough to try it!

Becks-I think a ripple is the most popular idea so far. I made a hex blanket in 2009 and once is enough! I still have about half of the ends to work in. Ha Ha. Also, my daughter wants the mixed berry scarf but she wants my to add the tassels on the ends for her. The wool and sequined scarves will probably go to my sisters for Christmas.

Kashi and Carole- Thanks for your votes.
